Greetings to our alumni “brats”. Start off this year with a New Year’s Resolution to attend the Bitburg HS Alumni Reunion being held in June 2006. Focus on this as a very important project and plan everything around it. We want to see regular faces, new faces, and old faces – please join us. Bill “Tiny” Wiehl ’67 has found the site, signed the contract and is lending his expertise to the reunion coordinators, Camille Hitch Smith ’64 and Martin “Pud” Charlton ‘69. If you live in the Atlanta area and would like to assist with the reunion, please contact Camille or “Pud”. More information about the place and dates can be found in this newsletter. I want to thank all of you for all the support you have sent to Lorraine and me in dealing with the diagnosis of our mother’s lung cancer, which the doctors informed our family about last month. We ask for your continued prayers for her. Her name is Dora Strum and I know her faith is a vital factor. She has been very courageous throughout this crisis and has set the standard for us to follow. Your 2005 donation can be sent to Gerry LAGISH Hilliard – she’s waiting to make those bank deposits!
